The chief priests and the elders of the people came to hear what He was saying. <br/>They wanted to trap Him into saying something that would give them an excuse to arrest Him for blasphemy. – Slide 3

‘By what authority are you doing these things?’ they asked. ‘And who gave you this authority?’ – Slide 4

Jesus replied, ‘I will also ask you one question. If you answer me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. – Slide 5
