Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of God shone around them. They were terrified. – Slide 3

The angel said, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will bring great joy. Today in the town of David, the shepherd king, a Saviour has been born.  He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.’ – Slide 4

Suddenly a great number of the angels from heaven appeared, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth to all who please Him.’ – Slide 5

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Quickly, let’s go to Bethlehem and find this baby in a manger, which the Lord has told us about.’ – Slide 6

They found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. Then they started telling everyone they met the good news and what the angel had told them. People were amazed at the news. Mary treasured these things and thought deeply about them. The shepherds returned to the hills, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen. – Slide 7
