Jesus told His disciples, ‘Take nothing for the journey except a staff. Don’t take any bread, or bag, or money in your belts. Wear sandals but not an extra shirt. Do not be afraid of the people you meet. If you acknowledge me before others, I will acknowledge you before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me be-fore others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. – Slide 3

‘Whenever you enter a house and they welcome you, stay there until you leave that town. Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes God who sent me. – Slide 4

The disciples anointed many sick people with oil and healed them. They delivered people who had come under the control of evil spirits. They shared the good news of Jesus everywhere. They returned with great joy, amazed that the authority Jesus had given them had made such a difference to people’s lives. Jesus wants us to be a witness for Him wherever we go. – Slide 7
