That day, two disappointed followers of Jesus, walking from Jerusalem to nearby Emmaus, find themselves in a discussion with a passer-by about the execution of Jesus. <br/>Passer-by: ‘Don’t you believe the prophets then? Didn’t the Messiah have to suffer to enter his glory? It was already written in the Scriptures. Everything in there is about Him.’ – Slide 1

When he hears the new that Jesus is alive he refuses to believe unless he sees Jesus and examines His wounds.  <br/>A week later Jesus appears to His disciples again and Thomas is present. <br/>Thomas: ‘My Lord and my God!’ <br/>Jesus: ‘Thomas you believe because you have seen me.
