John 20:24-29
Thomas's doubts about the resurrection are dispelled when Jesus appears and shows him his wounds.

Now Thomas had not been in the room when Jesus appeared to His disciples. The others told Him, ‘We have seen the Lord.’ – Slide 1

Thomas did not believe them. – Slide 2

‘Unless I see the nail marks in His hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe,’ Thomas insisted. – Slide 3

A week later the disciples were in the house again and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked. – Slide 4

Suddenly Jesus appeared and stood among them. – Slide 5

‘Peace be with you,’ said Jesus. – Slide 6

Jesus then said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here. See my hands.’ – Slide 7

Jesus continued, ‘Reach out your hand and put it into my side.’ – Slide 8

‘Stop doubting and believe.’ – Slide 9

Thomas exclaimed, ‘My Lord and my God.’ – Slide 10
